Matt has doubled down on the overall topic (ISR/PAL) and alludes to these posts without directly talking about it - He's re-shared on his IG story a picture from Guardian U.S. of Michigan rep' Rashida Tlaib's protest (holding up a 'Guilty of Genocide' sign) at Netanyahu's address to congress. Ironically of course he's only shared this all after his partner already had hours before.
"I'm not going to continue posting about this because I'm aware some are triggered by it. But unfollowing is always easier an easier option. It bends my mind that with ~20min of reading Al Jazeera, one of the Middle East's most trusted news sources you'll learn quickly of the behaviour of the Israel Gov, I'm aware most don't care to learn and that's okay too. But this guy and his ideology/orders are responsible for killing tens of thousands at this point. He's ordered killing of Human Rights workers, Aid Workers. He's ruined millions of lives, without reason. Yet some people instead decide to put their focus on WORDS someone says and get extremely worked up about this instead of voicing concern around this news^. While not all will share my view, I must say this is mind boggling to me-truly hard to wrap ones head around"
What is truly mind-boggling is that he still thinks his previous comments are acceptable, and seems to rationalise being openly racist to people. It's incredibly easy to be pro-Palestine and still think he's being a **** with these comments. He's also drastically minimising what he did/said and blaming others for getting too worked up, and I can only hope he is or will be removed from his position at S/E, if it's at all possible following the recent alleged buy-out.
Matt, if you're reading this, do you see the irony in this situation of you indiscriminately targeting random people for abuse just because they are of an ethnicity/nation that you now dislike? psychopath.
Is there anything we can do to get some bigger names in the running world to comment or bring attention to it? LetsRun, Citius, Coffee Club, Youtubers (Kofuzi, Eric Floberg), sponsors (Stryd, Ketone IQ, Soar), etc.
SOAR have been informed, and if there's no reply I know the founder (loosely) so can speak to him.

I absolutely fall into this category. I am very pro-Palestine and am absolutely disgusted by this. Matt is using Palestine to justify speaking like a pig and threatening people. I hope he rots.

His other sponsors are Pillar Performance, Precision Fuel and Hydration, Garmin, and HVMN. Does anyone have any good contacts at any of those companies?
Holy sh*t, Matt Fox seems to be attempting to justify the way he, a coach, treated an athlete and paying client on this podcast. I thought the rumors about this guy were perpetuated by some folks with an axe to grind, but apparently Matt Fox is a terrible person.
If Fox has such vehement anti-Israel views then why was he engaged in a trading relationship with one of its citizens? Shouldn't he have in effect sanctioned the nation and shunned doing business with its people rather than offer his coaching support?
He is clearly (deliberately) missing the point by trying to make this a Palestine / Israel thing. As I alluded to in a previous post, that is just the stick he chose to beat them with on this occasion.
He's abused plenty of non Jewish / Israeli people in the past.
Could this be a Safe Sport issue?
They have the power to issue sport wide bans.
Hard to know if this is sport or business? But he coaches runners, and has direct access to elite runners.
So it seems to me that this might fall into SafeSports realm.

This is the way. People won't say it but you KNOW that marketing folks/movers/shakers at these running-based companies know about LRC. They will just look at the site privately or confide to friends.

It's unlikely that he's tracking from which country people purchase his online training programs? He's not even proof-reading a Chat GPT reply to an athlete to remove his name and insert the athlete's name before sending it to the athlete. In Itai's case, his reply to Itai used his own name in it, which was one of the key things that made Itai realize it was not an authentic reply.
Didn't think he's like a douche, but from the sweat elite videos where he's in and interviewing pros he seemed like to be on the spectrum. Meaning not getting social clues and not really getting the vibe of the group. Maybe it's just my impression.
P.S. I can't understand why anybody would want to hire an online coach, when this message board can coach you for free.

to be fair this is a really good point, I dont want this to get sidetracked into trying to push a diagnosis on the man, but I'd agree that in every SE podcast interview I've ever listened to, it always sounds like he's not listened to the answer the interviewee has given, as he'll just respond with something blunt like "cool. Ok, next..." or "Yep" and I always just wrote it off as maybe he didn't care about the person/topic and was just doing this as work
