Never count Henrik out for long. He has dealt with injury issues for the last twelve years but every now and then he will pop a good one from 3k to 5k because while he gets injured from trying to keep up with Jakob, he also can run very well on very little training, which was evident in the show, Team Ingebrigtsen. He ran his 1500 pr of 3:31.46 in 2014 and his long-time 3k pr of 7:42.19 dated to 2013. He hasn't run a 1500 or mile in at least five years. But he smashed his 3000m pr in 2019 after six years, taking what amounted to a second off per year since his last pr, running 7:36.85, and then remarkably, last year, in 2023, he ran another pr, four years later, in 7:34.80 in September. He also ran his 5000m pr last year, 13:13.99, four years after the previous pr from 2019 of 13:16. I don't know whether he had the superspikes back in 2019 but he hasn't lost anything from his best 3k/5k years either way.
