Lex and Leo at Stanford have not shown any improvement yet; nor has Aaron Sahlman, but Nico Young and Colin Sahlman have certainly proved that Brosnan didn't burn out his best athletes in high school. Compare that to York High or other legendary programs of old, who have one or no great runners in college or the pros (Bakken and Sage at York were the best, but Bakken was only there one year and Sage didn't run much faster at Stanford).

That’s the point. Super elites are hard to burn out. The rest of the not so elite’s get crushed. He didn’t burn out his best, but many others were.
