But I did actually Think he was faster than 2:08 and had a 100% spot.
He has the qualifying time (just) from last year’s London marathon. Hasn’t been selected yet. Our selectors want to see current fitness. I’m sure he will be selected though. (Unless I’ve missed something in the last month). Just Phil Sesemann so far for the men.
But don't you feel going with Cairess would be a better option? Maybe he can go faster than 2:05 but just seems slightly too aggressive
Absolutely right and his best 10,000 meters is only around 29 minutes flat. So he's really red lining and I don't think he will keep it up but if I'm wrong I'll be happy.

In the second group Cairess looks good. I think this group will catch some of the front runners. Who is the mzungu pacer in front of Cairess, I only see his back? Similar physique to Mike Foppen, Jimmy Gressier's sparing partner/homie.
She ran Tokyo, which gives her a bit more time to prepare for the Olympics if she's running the marathon there. Does anyone know what her program will be there?
I’m watching the international feed on the Olympic channel. Why are they focusing so much on a British guy in the second pack who’s way off the main group? And don’t even get started on the wheelchair race. They need to have their own stream.
