Women are 48.38 thru 15k.pace?
We've merged two Tokyo threads into 1 and remind you we'll be going live at 8 pm ET to break down World Indoors and catch the end of Tokyo:
Women are 48.38 thru 15k.pace?
Weird that several runners have the same last names.
I did no know the last name "Pace" was popular in Kenya
Vincent Kipkemoi might be struggling a bit here but still/back in the group
Pacer #3 looks smooth and composed. I'm impressed.
Lead women getting very little screen time. Not good.

Hillary Kipkoech who also paced Valencia last year past 30k I think
and no women coverage
Is Eliud slipping off the pace??
Kipchoge appears to be dropping
This could be huge problem for Kipchoge, he's not tucked in with pacers
Kipchoge falling off pace
Oh snap
Kipchoge falling back

2:03:02 for the win. Think his best days are behind him but I'll reserve judgement on whether he will win Olympic gold until after this race.
If it's not going well, he should drop out and the Kenyans will still put him on the Olympic team in my opinion.
Wow, just like that EK is blowing up! Oh no!!!

First hill on the course and he dropped back off the lead pack
Kichoge couldn't even make it half way at pace. Its done.
Father time finally catches Eliud.
