This thread makes me think of an issue I had just two weeks ago. I started going to the gym around 7am on Sunday and Saturday to first lift and then do about 60 minutes on the treadmill. The rest of the time I run outside.
Anyways, this old guy comes up to me during my treadmill run and tells me that the treadmill that I was on was the one he likes to use at 7am. In fact, the two treadmills next to the one I was running on are the ones his FRIENDS like to use.
So, all three old people need to be IN A ROW for their 7am WALKS on the treadmill. In a not so subtle way, he told me I should not run on his treadmill at that time in future.
A couple things.
1. Their are no reservations for treadmills. It's first come, first serve.
2. Gym is not social hour for you and your walker friends.
3. There were three treadmills IN A ROW directly in front of us that they could use, but no, they wanted the one I was using.
The entitlement of some people is off the charts. I plan on going at 7am this weekend and telling him to "f--- off" if he tells me to move. Or go to management and complain (and likely get shut down and laughed at).
