There's some stats on the link I provided that would lend some evidence to this. Not sure why you would delete 5-6x more posts than are reported without there being some sort of bias. Maybe there is a logical reason though, I'm not a moderator.

That is because 1) Entire threads with hundreds of posts can be removed and don't count in the stats as being reported. 2) Mods can delete posts that aren't reported. Ie we're surfing the site like you and see something nuts, we may delete it.
a couple of suggestions then.
1. If a thread is hundreds of posts long, you shouldn't delete it. We, the people, clearly want it.
2. That's where the problem is. A mod can deem anything "nuts" and delete it, and they do. As a personal example - I once gave an honest description of my experience with covid and returning to running and it was deleted. There was nothing outrageous or offensive about anything I wrote. It was on topic and factual. The mod just didn't like my reply.
Anyway, I appreciate you guys (mods included) keeping the site up and running. I do enjoy it and realize its got to be an enormous headache at times. Thanks for taking the time to reply.

But for example I’m definitely going to leave up posts some consider transphobic . Otherwise speech can be just labeled as XYZ to stop debate.

Apply keywords and phrases lookups to unregistered names. Such as, "Chicago", "killings", "theft", "democrats", "demorats", etc. If two or more keywords occur then provide a popup that requires the poster to attest (a checkbox) that the post is not racist, derogatory, slanderous, etc ... along with a warning that if the attestation is false their IP will be banned (short term, long term, permanent). This allows for the anonymity you want, and makes it easier for the mods to catch constant abusers because they can match IP reoccurrence to false attestations. Also, the keywords and phrases can be added to and updated as required by LRC. ... It might be harder to catch people using VPNs but I think you'll notice a trend in the offensive posts and adjust the keywords and phrases lookups to deal with those people.
By the way, please flush out the ancient IP bans that no longer serve any purpose. The original people who got those bans are long gone, or managed to get their IPs changed, or they moved. One idea is instead set time limit of a few months to a IP ban as a "pending permanent ban", if the same IP continues to abuse then extend the ban (maybe to one year), on a third abuse then make it a permanent ban (3 strikes).
We have filters for many words. Librurd or whatever is an example. We can’t ban the term Democrat or Republican.
There's a pizza place near me that's banned (the wifi is - can't get cell reception) because someone typed the name "A marjeet" into the username. So now if I'm waiting in line, I can't post on LRC
I’m not saying the mods agree with the KKK on everything. But IF this board WERE moderated by the KKK, a very similar set of posts would be allowed/deleted.

In that thread I see a post removed where Deno said he doesn’t like homosexuality (or trans people competing in women’s sports)
A more vague posts saying he doesn’t mind being called phobic is left up. I’m fine with that.
I agree with his views on that, so I don’t care if he posts those views in a thread. It’s the numerous threads he starts on some song he’s listening to, or some football player he’s infatuated with, that get old real quick.
If transgender people are framed as a threat to humanity, then what’s the logical response to a threat to humanity? Eliminate the threat. Those sorts of beliefs about trans people are why so many of them are bullied, harassed, discriminated against, and MURDERED. A thread framing trans people as a threat to humanity is blatant hate speech. Is that what you want your site to represent?

Malmo is definitely not Deno. Malmo protects him but Malmo operates on another level. In fairness to Deno, Deno is posting half naked athletes ostensibly because he idolizes them, or once did. He has bashed homosexuals repeatedly, but he doesn’t usually bring it up, but if someone else brings it up, he then does his bashing, telling us it is not cool to be gay, why are they in closets, one could never be an NFL head coach etc. Think of Deno as your uncle who cannot seem to help himself. That is not Malmo.
Deno has also repeatedly called for athletes to be allowed to dope with whatever they want to (or more likely, what their coaches and managers want), including kids.
When you add that to the fact he is forever making threads about Jamaican athletes and the like, he is essentially saying he wants young black athletes roided up for his entertainment. That doesn't sit well with his rampant homophobia.
