Grant left because I added Justin Knight to the roster and Grant and Justin don't like each other. Grant gave me an ultimatum after Justin being added to the roster was announced, which was too late so he left.
No. I believe the real reason he left is he was furious that Sean McGorty didn’t give him a spot in the 10K. He probably perceived it as Sean not being a team player, and he was probably pissed that Jerry didn’t intervene on his behalf. I suspect his friendship with Sean is damaged beyond repair because of it, and he did not want Sean as a teammate anymore.
Come back to Michigan. You can work on your closing speed in Ann Arbor with the best mile coach in the country or you can move up to the marathon and move to Rochester Hills with the best marathon coach in the country.

I do believe that Ronnie is the best 1500 meter coach in the country and would be perfect for GF at this point in his career.
I do not believe that GF has the durability to be a great marathoner so that question is moot. I do agree that the Hansons do have the magic touch when it comes to the marathon.
He’s moving to Park City. Think he’s not joining a group but not 100% sure on that. Not sure on coach other than it isn’t Mike Smith
interesting. might be going in a largely self coached direction. it's not rocket science. these guys should know their bodies better than anybody, as long as they have a sounding board to keep them honest.
2. Sign with On and join OAC. On would have to be throwing a lot of weight around to pull the rug out from under Nike, but no other brand is putting that kind of money into sponsorships and no other established group has the pedigree of OAC. Ritzenhein likely has the most similar coaching style to Jerry, so it wouldn't be a huge transition training-wise. But again, very dependent on sponsor dollars.
hasn't OAC very intentionally avoided guys competing for the same teams? They've committed to Klecker, I don't think Grant will go there.
That's not true, they've got Ky Robinson joining, a direct competitor of Morgan McDonald. Ritz is very ordinary, nobody would go from Jerry to ON, unless they're out of contract.

Totally off topic, but your username caught my eye and I looked it up, thinking you might be a real elite runner or coach. The New Yorker article about Jim Hogue, very interesting read.

Ky signed an NIL deal with ON, he isn't joining OAC. He still competes for Stanford
Here we go, the Bowerman mass exodus is about to begin. Jager needs to follow suit.
Jager is on the verge of retirement and has been with Jerry since 2007, I highly doubt he is leaving for another group. If anything, he will transition into coaching

I find it interesting that more culpability is not placed on Flanagan with the unraveling of Bowerman. She’s just as guilty as Jerry, and one greater level of insufferable. She’s not a nice or honest person.
