At the NCAA level, Lia Thomas and Cece Tefler won their events in D1 swimming and D2 track, respectively. Both are biological males.
"But it's only a couple!"
So that's what 4? There are fifty states with a couple divisions in most and over a dozen events and you had to go back to 2019 to get one example so 3 out of what 10,000 or more? Yep, women in sports have completely been replaced by transgender children. Most important issue of our generation.
Even if there were only 1, that'd be one male taking the rightful female winner's spot.
Lia Thomas beat 2 Tokyo silver medalists despite just being ranked #462 as a male.
This right wing site is obsessed with this issue. Its' called nothing else to talk about when the track season ends. I can't wait till Jakob Ingebrigtsen starts competing again to save us from BS conversations like this. Now that track is over the creators of this site are obviously overdosing on fox news. LMAO!
He'll care about this if/when the Dem media changes their mind about this issue. Dem voters wait for their instructions from their overlords, they 100% give up all of their free-will to think clearly and independently for themselves. So for now, this guy doesn't care about boys taking from girls even though in many other scenarios I bet he claims he's a "champion for women's rights".
Right...because the vast majority of Republicans aren't taking their marching orders from a former President and other M.A.G.A. loonies/overlords in Congress. Love how the right likes to claim to be "free thinkers" and "don't tell me what to do", yet will lick the boots of a disgraced NY billionaire and not see the irony. Morons.
It's one kid seeking - not fair treatment, but special treatment, at the expense of hundreds of women that are only seeking fair play.
I'm guessing you've never seriously competed in any sport at any time.
99% of the people that are against it are against it for fair play reasons. They aren't against it because the kid is trans.
At least half of them lose their interest in women's sports as soon as trans and intersex athletes are excluded. Those people also have something in common, like their oppositions to same sex marriage and abortion.
You're statement is absolutely ridiculous. You're overlooking the largest group that this issue impacts - the actual women that compete in women's sports. Their interest doesn't waiver, even though they are impacted the most. They keep competing though the playing field is no longer fair.
You are the one who's interest hinges upon trans and intersex inclusion/exclusion.

That's just it. It's not just 1 person being displaced. Every female in that event is forced to move down a spot.
It may not matter to the people that post here. But, I bet it matters to every one of those ladies that is involuntarily displaced.

But Thomas, or anyone else that didn’t complete testosterone suppression prior to commencing puberty, is ineligible to compete in NCAA or WA events. The Lia Thomas problem was identified and dealt with. Why are you still complaining about it?
Not specifically to one poster, but it is rather ironic that they claim the right is trying to marginalize or get rid of minorities...while the left is going after anyone who doesn't fall in lock step. You can see it in this thread.

No back to the usual arguing and insulting.
You are claiming that liberals are going after anyone that doesn’t fall into “lock step”. That’s absolute bullsh*t. It’s unlikely you can find a single democrat politician that supported the HS 1600m runners or especially Lia Thomas.
Trump has taken a very strong stance against transgender athletes, but it doesn’t make the top 100 for reasons to hate him.

JAHJ also overlooks the fact that women and girls who are impacted by, and object to, the incursion of males into female sports all belong to the only group who'd ever have need to consider or seek an abortion, or who've undergone one.
JAHJ likes to portray himself as having concern for women and girls, but his posting history shows that the only "girls" and "women" he genuinely gives a fig about are the ones who'll never have to spend even a second of their lives worrying about or dealing with late periods, unwanted pregnancies, prenatal testing, losing their health to pregnancy, dying in childbirth, childbirth injuries, etc because they are male.
JAHJ is so dead-set on painting female people like me who think males should be excluded from female sports simply because they are male as horrible, stupid, hateful right-wing bigots that he also chooses to ignore that some of us are in, or have been in, same-sex relationships and marriages ourselves.

How exactly is "the sanctity of 40+ years of progress in women's sports" threatened if that girl is allowed to play field hockey?
Here you go with the language games again. You call this male a "girl" to suggest that people are waging a campaign against a misfit female rather than a misogynist policy that impedes fair competition.
You are playing the language game here because you do not have any answer to the substance of my question.
How exactly is "the sanctity of 40+ years of progress in women's sports" threatened if that PERSON is allowed to play field hockey?
Do you now have an answer because I don't refer to that PERSON as a girl? Cisgender boys have been playing against girls in HS hockey for decades. Although that's a problem in and of itself, at least it has not threatened "the sanctity of 40+ years of progress in women's sports."
So how does one teenager who identifies as a female change that all of a sudden? Because the particular individual identifies as a female?
Even if there were only 1, that'd be one male taking the rightful female winner's spot.

You rely on the falsehood that testosterone suppression evens the playing field. It doesn't.
Testosterone suppression doesn't account for body composition changes brought on by female puberty. Nor does testosterone suppression account for musculoskeletal differences between biological males and biological females.
Hormone therapy does not create a level playing field. Don't ever bring it up again. It make you sound stupid.

99% of women who compete in women's sports will never have to compete against any trans athlete in their life. And among those who do, some do not object to competing against trans athletes.
Watch the video interview of Ember Zelch (a backup catcher in HS softball) I posted above. When she played in a summer league, she was asked to add "fun fact" in her self introduction to the team. When she said she was trans, some of her teammates did not like it, not because she was trans, but because she treated it as something noteworthy. In other words, they didn't care whether she was trans or not. Part of that is she wasn't even good enough to start on her HS team, which went something like 6-13 in the best season they had in years.
In the Ohio state legislature that banned trans athletes, those who sponsored the bill could not cite even a single case of complaint against Ember, who was the only trans female athlete competing in the state at the time.
Nobody is saying that one example of two trans runners in 2022 California HS cross country alone constitutes the end of women's sport. But the thinking behind advocating their inclusion is what worries people. The slope here is slippery, and my injustice meter blares at decisions like these. If the madness doesn't stop... yes, women's sports are threatened.
I think that my sample was 100% of the trans girl XC runners in California. If anybody knows others, we can include them in my “population”. A 20:42 trans runner does not threaten anything (other than in your mind). It seems that as soon as the hormones kick in, their performance fall off a cliff.
Allowing her to run may make her feel better however.
There could be others that none of us know because:
1. They have never competed as boys.
2. They are even slower than Ryan and Barrett.
3. They "pass" as girls and therefore you cannot detect them by "eyeball test."
4. People outside of their schools don't even know they are trans.
What would stop this in its track is for all females in the race to either not get on the starting line or all jump into the boys race and be scored separately.
Unfortunately if there isn't enough girls with the guts to do this then we'll be seeing this year in and year out.

That’s not the point. Can you identify a transgender athlete that started testosterone suppression prior to puberty? The new rule is likely to reduce the possibility of another Lia Thomas to about zero percent.
