"You're Sixteen" by Ringo Starr is a cover of a 1960 bubble gum song by Johnny Burnette. I would guess that the writers (the Sherman brothers) envisioned it sung by a boy, maybe 17 or 18, not a dude in his twenties or thirties (or forties or fifties). Her name wasn't Lolita.
