Those aren't great finishes, but they aren't horrible either. A lot is relative to the strength of the conference and how difficult it is to get top tier athletes into a school. Cal Berkley is never going to get the same athletes as Oregon for example and finishing top 8 in the Big 12 would be top-3 in some other conferences.

It's not about whoever the athlete is. It's about Colleen wanting to be heard and nothing more. Did the people/person in question do something illegal? If so, go through the proper channels to get them banned...don't put up a cowardly ghost comment that leaves you on the fence either way.
It sucks that the #1 most successful distance teen in the U.S is also a product of the #1 most blatantly shady and cheating coach in the U.S. It is also unfortunate how that athlete dipped out on a full-ride to the prestigious CU XCTF team to stay being coached by the #1 most suspicious coach in a league that doesn’t drug test.

BUT she draws the line at stuff the coach is allegedly injecting into his "elite" runners that will make her run faster? Hmmm. Not sure about that.
Who is this minor? Do you have any proof of who it is? I have read the entire police report and there are no names given. Pretty serious allegations about a minor that are impossible to prove.

Big time. Apparently stating that her college coach was more abusive than Wetmore is not allowed on these boards. Karen Harvey had to leave coaching entirely to run away from all the athletes she abused. Pretty hypocritical of Quigley to criticize former CU athletes for not speaking out...

I resent the blind acceptance that "marketing yourself" is somehow something that's totally fine and acceptable now (or even encouraged). It's the kind of behaviour that would've got you beaten to a pulp when I was in high school - and I don't think that was necessarily a bad thing.
