Do lyles, kerley, and Norman not have to run their primary event because they have a pass for winning worlds last year? It's hard to keep track of all this.

They never had to run their event. That's why Jenny Simpson ran the 5000 at Des Moines in 2013.
What's new this year is that they don't have to run anything at USAs. In the past, they had to run something. That's why Simpson ran the 5,000.
It really is. Past performances are not indicative of future performances. I don't know why My was even accepted to run the 1500 at USATF. When I looked at the list, it seemed like faster runners were passed up so that she could run.
I like Boling. He's a great young sprinter and long jumper with competitive fire. Any other country in the World he's their national champion or in their top three and on their 4x4. In the States he's in one of the most competitive events. The top 4 from the meet will be gold medal favorites in the relay. Our top three will be medal favorites in the 4. Boling belongs and is in the mix. I wish the US could enter two 4x4 teams in the Worlds.
USATF should contract this out to Sound Running. Use some drones and stuff. This footage is not inspired. But at least we won't get commercials during the 10,000.
This thread illustrates what a debacle the coverage is this year. Normally these threads explode and gain new pages by the minute. Not this time because hardly anyone is watching.
Get a grip, Slick. She's running in Eugene, just not in the 800.
PS I must have missed your post wanking on about SML not running her event.
Not even close to the same thing. Syd is the favorite in the open 400m and a legitimate contender at world's as well if she chooses to do the event. Mu won't even make the final in the 1500m and is not competitive in the event at all.

I'm not watching cause i'm not paying for runnerspace or peacock or whatever. I just look oat the live results and then the youtube videos from nbc sports or something

It’s far better just watching the results page update and not hear blathering idiots talk about “up close and personal” crap for 6 hours.
