Ryan Duffy from NJ just set the all time freshman 5k xc record (according to Milesplit atleast) in NJ with a 15:46 at their regional championships. Relatively, flat, fast course but distance accurate.
Collin Goodwin is insane
He's definitely the #1 freshman in tx for XC and one of the top in the country
He ran 15:17 at FEAST and recieved a 170 speed rating which is pretty insane

Yes, he is also one of the reasons why Austin Vandegrift TX is doing so well.
The always-strong Rosemount team from Minnesota, who was occasionally ranked in the top 25 in the Milesplit national rankings last year, has 2 freshmen in their top 7. One of them also has a last name Goodwin. The other has a first name that is a capital of Massachusetts.
Channing Goodwin - 16:41 5k
Boston Peterson - 16:27 5k.
Blake School MN qualified for the state meet for the first time since 2012, and look what they have

112 posts! you do realize there are 8th grade sprinters coming in??
Example
jaelen Hunter on 48.9 in the 400
kaedyn Burroughs 49.1 in the 400.
Why are you all this obssessed with 14 year old boys? Wait a few yrs before obsessing over them on a toxic internet forum
I know this is quite late, but the middle school national record is actually 4:19 ran by Marcus Reilly at a BU mini meet in 8th
