Again, the 2nd Amendment is not the problem. Many defenders of the 2nd Amendment in the US advocate for exceptions such as those preventing convicted felons, the mentally ill and even households with a mentally ill person present (e.g., Adam Lanza) from gun ownership.

So, what are you doing to repeal the Second Amendment? Without the Second Amendment, firearms could be federally regulated or prohibited without question. How about the many state constitutions that protect the right to bear arms? Do you pick and choose what constitutional rights you like and which ones you don't, and thus determine which ones you believe should be the law of the land and which ones you believe should not? Do you prefer to have criminal acts committed with firearms to be a political issue and therefore could care less whether the Second Amendment is repealed or not?
