An awful result to be honest. In all likelihood after Friday England will have 6 points, Wales 4, and US 1. And then next week the British tossers will play to a neighborly draw to get USMNT eliminated no matter how many goals we score against the ayatollahs
I really thought the US could eek out a result, huge missed chance. You can never count Bale out to generate a goal somehow though, class player even when his mind is on the golf course and he's past his prime.
England isn't perfect, but it will be a bloodbath for the US on Friday if they don't up the mentality. And Pulisic is talented but needs to toughen up if he wants to leave his mark.

USA lost their mojo early in the second half. The moment I knew this was when they had the ball down by the side of the box and instead of attacking, they turned back passed all the way back to the keeper. That was just an invitation for Wales to attack without fear, and they obliged.

Then the USA would have to beat Iran, who will be pumped up to defeat the Great Satan. But it wont matter anyway as Wales will only need a point, and England will be happy to play for the draw (despite the Welsh players celebrating when England got knocked out by Iceland in the Euros a few years ago).

I love to hear "Nerd" runners who aren't athletic enough to participate in any sport but running bash soccer. Seriously, soccer is a tough sport with a sh^t load of running (and not the easy type of running).
