The problem is many people don’t think their job should be to act as the muscle for Democrats and go around arresting their enemies.
Just to inject a couple notes of reality into the current discussion:
1. The search is for documents that (apparently) went to MaL when Donald Trump left the White House. It seems that some of those have not been handled and accounted for properly. This search has NOTHING to do with 1/6--indeed, it seems to have nothing to do with *any* events that occurred while DJT was still President.
2. Donald Trump was NOT at MaL when this search occurred--he was at Trump Tower--and he certainly was not "arrested."
3. Word is that the White House did not receive a heads-up before this raid. I would imagine that some Dems are upset at the whole prospect of Trump's not being a candidate in 2024, because
4. Joseph Biden has shown that he can beat Donald Trump; it is not clear he could beat any other GOP candidate. You could get 81 million people to vote against Trump; how do you get that many motivated to vote against DeSantis?
