No.
How do you "know" that the average letsrunner does not know that?
The comments on this thread.
I thought Inge would run faster than 1:47, but they've only been doing speed work for 2-3 weeks.
Based on his form i would expect a time around 1,45 high
If the weather is OK I think we can see a 1:45 mid to low today.
BUT Bergen is one of the wettest cities in Europe situated at the west coast of Norway highly influenced by the Gulf Stream. In average 237 rain days per year.
The temperature to night should be around 12 degrees ceslsius with no or only a little rain.
One weather forecast says 12 second meter wind; another only 1-2.
I don´t think Jakob cares much about the low temperature. He is used to that from his hometown Sandnes which is also situated on the West Coast but further south.

Actually it's a mix of both - called "strength endurance". I constantly used to beat 5000m runners in 1500m just because I came from the 800m and had better speed. No chance against the same runners in 5000m though.
You constantly beat 5k runners in the 1500m because you ran faster than them. I doubt your 800m background had anything to do with.
I am trying to understand how your story applies to this conversation.
Great thread guys. But I'm going to lock it to new posts as it's easier to link to another thread about the race now that's it's over. So please move your discussion here:
