Looked to my untrained eye that Girma leaned slightly too soon (and got in front) but Bakkali kept the momentum and timed it right for the smallest of margins.

Went out not too far behind Tim and the pacemaker, and probably just isn't in that fitness yet post COVID. Got swallowed up by the field and spat out the back. I'd guess he would've run better if he went out more conservatively, but that's a risk you take
