Definitely great and among the greatest, but not the greatest. I would place it somewhere just outside of the top-20. There is definitely something cool and interesting about the rhythm, the guitar and the overall arrangement. However, you can't call a song the greatest ever when the lyrics are so-so and notwithstanding the fact they are about an illicit drug.
Your list is good, it includes some of my favorites, but dude you definitely living in the past.

Prince was an incredible rock musician but was born with the wrong skin color. I don't like making things about race, but there is no doubt if Prince had been white, he would be regarded as one of the greatest rock musicians ever.

People always say that, which I think is because his playing was quirky, uncomplicated and easy to duplicate. However, in his era, when you first heard one of his songs, it instantly resonated and you played it over and over. Clapton was an artist and unless you can see the artistic value in his music, you are not going to see his greatness. Btw, Clapton did lots of collaborations with other great musicians and great musicians are like elite distance runners...you can hang with them if you can't keep up.
