Gjert Ingebrigtsen is stepping down and Ingrid Ingebrigtsen quits

I remember in the show it being mentioned a personal one where gjert says he tried to control henriks life too much, including in regard to his gf.

She was doing up to 70 mpw based on a youtube interview with Henrik and Her. That's a lot of training for 4:42.

I admire much about Gjert, but not his claim re Jakob vs. Tim.

I watched an episode just last night, Season 1 Episode 7 I think, in which Gjert said he's putting in so much time with his kids that they will have to return the kindness when he is elderly and in an elder-care facility or something like that. Henrik and Filip responded by saying that they would have to control HIS life, what women he gets to visit, etc. It was a hoot.

One of the earlier Season 1 episodes showed Henrik, Filip and Jakob on their own in a hotel room before a competition. Ingrid had chickenpox so Gjert did not travel with the boys. Older brothers being older brothers, Henrik and Filip told Jakob he had to take the small bed. That was also a hoot. When one of them was eating a hamburger, another snitched (more to see what Gjert's response would be than to complain) and shot a text or a pic to Gjert back home. Gjert called immediately to express disapproval about eating hamburger. Another hoot. Family dynamics.

I didn't read his post, but it also occurred to me that she might not have the right body type for a middle distance runner. Not saying she's fat, but she's built more like a 200/400 runner. So perhaps it's a case that 1500m+ wasn't suited to her?

Agreed. Of all the kids, she has appeared least suited for distance running since day 1.

Stride, turnover, etc never looked right. Maybe more of a hurdler or 400m runner.

The chicken pix vaccine has been out since like 2001. Why wasn't Ingrid vaccinated? Also- the kids have very severe acne on their faces and body in their tv series- watching on Youtube. Henrik and Filip have bad acne scars now! Patents should have gotten them on Accutane or something! And does Jason's then 15yo gf not have a family? Jakobs parents basically allowed her to move in and sleep with him at 15? I know Jakobs mom got pregnant at 16!

GJert's dad had 3 kids by age 23. He died of some sort of cancer at 26! They showed him visiting the grave on tv series. Jakob's mom pregnant at 16, and then 7 more kids 25 years apart. Two older boys illegitimate kids in early 20s.

It would have been worse if she had started training earlier.
