Katir is going to fade in the coming years. He has probably heavily doped during the pandemic . The key to not getting caught is the underperforming. Such a low level athlete probably rarely gets tested, especially in Spain and he kept low profile until the last minute. Now he can surf on the results for a while before they diminish. Of course he will be tested heavily now, so the only question is how long will his performance stay enchanched. Red blood cells survive a long time so it might be a while. Muscle and the results acquired from steroid/hgh aided workouts also remains well. I believe he will kick ass in the olympics, but already next year be struggling to keep up. Great plan by Katir and his management. Why perform well early for no money and respect, when you can get a much greater return in the end. He will be able to cash out and live on his records and olympic medal for a long time. Even without the pandemic such a plan is possible, but it was much easier now! Kudos ..!
As a Norwegian I am simply happy he is not taking a medal away from Jakob.. Who has been tested at a crazy rate since he was young. Nobody comes from out of the shadows and almost equals an already all time great as Jakob who has been a shocking talent his whole life. No short term correct training plan will suddenly give you such results. Simply is crazy we are supposed to accept it. Think about how many legends, many of whom doped, Katir is suddenly better than. Shoes does lessen the results somewhat, as the legends would be even better now, still he is already among the best of our times and he came from no where.
Surely he must have ran poorly by design to avoid getting attention all the way until he began winning at Gateshead recently..?
