You are wrong. They had people on hand to take care of the injured. The cops got out of the way so the medics can come in. You can see the two in an army uniform go over to them.
It's unfortunate he hit his head but this is not excessive force. It was a light push, the guy certainly doesn't look 75 in the video. He's holding a helmet and coming at them. He is disobeying their orders. Do you want them to just hand him a lollipop and walk away?
It's dumb of you to complain about cops being calloused at the same time they are walking into a riot. They are literally putting their lives on the line. They SHOULD be calloused.
We should hold citizens up to higher standards. There are tens of thousands looting and lighting this on fire and many are murdering police, yet morons like you cheerlead that behavior. And a copy exerts 5 pounds too much force in a light push and that's all you can focus on.

Exactly, there were medics and the cops rightfully got out of the way so the medics can get there quickly.
Nobody should be fired and the cops that pushed him should receive a bonus. That old man was dumb and deserved what he got.

You are correct. But my main point is if the older guy would have done his protesting during the set protesting hours and not confronted the police officer when he was supposed to be off the street, none of this would be an issue.

Exactly my take on this. And I'm an old white guy who wouldn't want to be manhandled like that. If I were in his situation I would not have planted myself DIRECTLY in the path of a line of police officers moving slowly along the street. Dumb hurts.
