There’s no reason to pretend anybody anywhere actually likes JD Vance.
I kind of respect JD Vance. Lower middle class upbringing. Did what he had to do to get ahead. Beefs with the Pope on twitter. I get the sense that he doesn’t really believe the majority of what he’s saying. He’s just really smart and knows how to work for the right people.
Ending a war in which over one million people were killed.
How disastrous
He's not ending the war. Surely you're not that naive? How does taking the side of the country that started the war get us closer to peace? The USA is standing shoulder to shoulder with Rusia, North Korea, Somalia, Algeria, to name a few, and you think that's a good thing?
Yes. They are negotiating an end to this disaster.
Yes I do think it's a good idea to get along with Russia, No Korea, Iran.
And no, the Russians did not start this war. Obama admin did
You do realize that passing laws is much more effective than executive orders.
The next president can simply cancel all of Trumps executive orders. Every one of them.
Unlikely when JD Vance wins in 2028.
Better luck in 2036.
Who the f*ck is going to vote for Vance when the S&P is at 4000, inflation is at 8%, the national debt is $50T, and unemployment is hovering around 7% in 4 years?

Russia already violated a treaty that was intended to preserve Ukraine's borders and sovereignty.
In addition to Ukraine/Crimea, they also invaded Georgia. And participated in Syria, trying to prop up a dictator.
Negotiating a deal with Putin that removes sanctions and welcomes Russia back in the G8 would only give him the respite he needs to re-arm and try again.
This is what Trump will do.
Then we'll repeat all this in a few years when Russia has rebuilt its military.
What treaty did Russia violate?
Georgia? Familiar with the Rose Revolution and US role in the regime change?
Take a look at a map of the world that shows US, Russian, and Military bases outside their own borders.
Maybe that will open your eyes as to who the aggressor is.
Any guesses? Can you think of a war that is currently ongoing and which the US has sunk hundreds of billons of our $?
The US has not sunk hundreds of billions of our dollars into any ongoing war. Nor have millions of people been killed in any recent war, despite your claims.

The Budapest Memorandum on Security Assurances, where Russia agreed to "Respect the signatory's (i.e., Ukraine's) independence and sovereignty in the existing borders".
If you don't know these basic facts you should go back to playing with your crayons, because you have no business commenting on geopolitics.

Newname can't play with crayons long because she/he/it eats them.
“Alina Habba: This is what we're about. We're running this county like President Trump runs the Trump Organization. Like Elon Musk running X. That's what we're doing.”

You’re referencing the Budapest Memorandum on Security Assurances, signed on December 5, 1994, by Russia, the United States, and the United Kingdom, with Ukraine as the key beneficiary. It was a big deal at the time—Ukraine agreed to give up the world’s third-largest nuclear arsenal, inherited from the Soviet Union, in exchange for security guarantees. The memorandum’s text is pretty clear: Russia (along with the U.S. and UK) pledged to “respect the independence and sovereignty and the existing borders of Ukraine”
The US, of course, violated this agreeement when they aided the overthrow of the Ukraine govt in 2014.

Which war would that be?
If he's OK with his god telling him that Ukraine started the war, and that Zelensky is a dictator, and NEVER saying that Putin is a dictator.....we can't really have any hope that he'll quibble with a casualty total (no matter HOW far off it is).
There’s no reason to pretend anybody anywhere actually likes JD Vance.
It's VERY hard to be optimistic about ANYTHING in this country these days......but, Vance turning out to be as electorally (un-)popular as Desantis is VERY easy to imagine.
That's the glass half full view, of course. But imagine THIS country: "Yeah, Desantis is a do*che, no thanks. We'll take......TRUMP !!!"
There’s no reason to pretend anybody anywhere actually likes JD Vance.
He helped Trump win in a historic landslide.
To be fair, that would be historic: the only "landslide" in which the winning candidate got less than half of the popular vote.
Of course, all of this would mean that Barack Obama's wins, with actual majorities of the votes cast and more Electoral College votes than President Trump, would have to be described as "super-duper" landslides.

Regarding the highlighted above....wow.
I get the impression that you might be a reasonably principled person. But wow, your tolerance of MASSIVELY unprincipled people (and including one who is one heartbeat away from being the most powerful person on earth) is REALLY.....uh, unprincipled ?
