Trump ran on getting out of Afghanistan, he never did it in his 4 years.

The many servicemembers that died in Afghanistan during those 4 years, could you use the same logic that the mom used with Biden against Trump? Yes.

Biden did the best with what he was given, with an objective to get out. The government collapsing in 11 days, nobody foresaw it. Absolutely nobody. The earliest estimate was several weeks.

Really end of story, and now the Trumpers everywhere are loving that soldiers died so they can get points for their dear leader. Really quite sick.

You nailed your assessment. Biden threw all government resources available to do as much as possible to deal with the situation at hand. And Gary calls him a coward and wimp. Biden has more balls than the last 3 presidents combined for taking a huge political risk to end the war. That's exactly why the others didn't end it - they were weak on this point. Even in the face of daily D and left leaning media scrutiny and hysteria he did not cave and kept his word. He did it because it was the right thing to do and what is best for America's future. That ladies and gents is a leader.

Tzees are so totally psychotic and buried in their crazy view of Biden that I don't know how they are going to possibly handle his easy 2024 victory. They obviously couldn't handle last Nov's devastating loss which is probably why they are nutcases right now.

Biden’s defiant tone in his speech today reminds me of the movie “A Few Good Men”— I object. I object. I strenuously object. Just like Demi Moore’s character Biden looks just as incompetent. Can’t say I’m surprised. After all Biden was the sole person to advise “No” when Obama was presented with the opportunity to take out Bin Laden. Biden has been consistently wrong on foreign policy for a long time.

Biden is the man for getting us out. The easy thing politically would have been to stay and let the next president deal with it. That's not Biden's style. The terrorists knew for a over year (based on Trumps agreement) that we were leaving and had plenty of time to plan their response. Our people knew for over a year and they could have left anytime, they didn't need to wait.

A year from now Biden will be remembered and praised as the president with the balls to get us out. He did it for our country regardless of the political hit he would likely incur. Trumpers better get their kicks in now because Biden will rebound as he always does.
