Moreover, zinc is a powerful RNA polymerase inhibitor but only when driven into the cell. Amazing that so much of this research and these RCTs didn’t look at Zinc ionophores, just poo-pooed them as standalone pharmacological agents. That’s the only research that was done. Why?

I gave credence to the lab leak likely before you finished reading the wikipedia page on furin, but for factors that make sense to trained molecular biologists – not substack readers pretending to understand. (Proximity to WIV/boring stuff that doesn't make headlines). I never was a zealot – I could see the evidence in both directions – but I was one of the first to say a lab leak was possible (if not probable!). I disagreed about the evidence for bioengineering, but that was a lost cause against people trying to wrongly explain codon bias to me.

Natural immunity is not marginally worse than vaccine-induced immunity. It’s equivalent or better than three vaccines when you adjust for durability. According to the CDC. Some settings may decide to continue requiring masks even after the statewide requirements are lifted.
Washington and Oregon state health officials made the same announcement on Friday, moving to lift the last major requirements meant to curb the spread of the coronavirus.

Would’ve been here much sooner had we employed risk stratification and some basic treatments for those who were high risk but absolutely refused the vaccine.
