The woman who was killed was in a group that used racial slurs towards the black group and brandished guns, in a dangerous area, at 3am. That doesn't excuse the fact that someone shot her, but you are being intellectually dishonest, as usual.

Drew Brees is a bad leader for his locker room and the tone-deaf timing of his comments are obvious to anyone who is a good leader. I don't feel bad that this was pointed out to him.

Who "brandished guns" first? How do you know that racial slurs were hurled at the blacks? The "dangerous area" was along a canal. Who reports to you? Do you ever get independent reporting or just report on what the blacks said? There are 2 sides of the story but you seem to be siding with the murderous ones.

My problem with Drew Brees was his belief that kneeling during the national anthem was somehow disrespecting the flag. It is not, at least in my opinion. Kneeling during the national anthem is an exercise of the freedom that the flag symbolizes, and, in that sense, actually honors the flag.

The fact that Trump said that those who kneeled during the national anthem maybe shouldn't be in this country and should be fired from their jobs shows that he doesn't believe in the freedoms that the flag represents. Very unpatriotic.
