TX is never going back to red. FL is already lost. The changing demographics of those two states make that a reality.
NEVER is a long time. Republicans and independents are running away fro Trump in droves. Biden is going to win in 2020. If a reasonable Republican can make any waves after Biden is elected, he/she (probably a He) would have a chance to flip some states back to red in 2024.
Biden will have a big challenge on his hands in 2024 more than likely. He will have been elected to stop the poison. Once he has fulfilled that role, voters will want more. He will be 4 years older. He WILL make some mistakes as all presidents do, and we will have to see how the economy recovers under his watch.
The Trump era is going to be gone. No one will continue that nonsense after Trump is out.
This makes his VP pick extremely important. It will be more likely than in any other time that the POTUS is teeing up the VP for a run in the next term. This is why unfortunately it cannot be Warren. Harris is still the best current option to improve Dem chances of keeping the WH through 2032.
