I'm so glad that after Rob's Olympic performance last week that this whole affair can be put to bed. Although he wasn't listed as official entrant or even sighted on course, I've got it on good authority that he came 5th in his is age category in a time of 2h 18mins.
You can see the official results on his MarathonManUK blog. Sadly due to a satellite glitch GPS data is not available. The news has attracted 40,000 Facebook likes in the first few minutes of results being published, so clearly is legit.
Update to my previous - my two comments have been deleted and I've been blocked by Epic Challenges. Didn't take long.
I've noticed a negative comment from another user has also been removed. I believe this organisation is not a charitable one, just a commercial event organiser - clearly lacking in any ethics.

If you search the ultrarunning community Facebook page for this name you'll see there are still some RY threads which are left open. It's pretty clear from what they've said that they don't support the guy. This idea that he is worshipped in the British running community is pure crap, as I've tried to explained several times. It's like talking to a brick wall.
They just don't seem to want multiple threads on the same topic. I happen to disagree with that policy but it is still clear they don't support him.
Might try and post that link on one of their open threads and see what happens.

You lot seem to have it in your heads that we worship Rob Young in Britain. How many times do I have to spell it out to you thick idiots? I'm an ultra runner in the UK. Until a few weeks ago I hadn't even heard of the guy. We do not worship him.
After I posted yesterday, I then went and re-posted that link of the Facebook page you keep slagging off. They didn't block it. Their admin's response was: "We're happy for comments regarding RY to remain here, as long as they're civil of course. What we'd rather avoid is half a dozen threads all on the same subject."
The same admin posted this comment on another RY thread: "Fair play and thanks for posting Kevin, hopefully the Skins report when it comes out will have the hard evidence of data tampering tat'll prove even to the remaining acolytes he has cheated"
Sorry, but you'd have to be pretty dense to think that the above comment shows support for Rob Young. If that is what you think, then the problem is with you, not with that Facebook page and not with me. And you call my input a yawn. What have you contributed? You just come on here to whine about the Brits and their imaginary support for RY.
OK, if Brits don't support him, why is he posing with Mo in various photos used for promotional appearances? Why is he allowed to do this? Do Mo's people know that his image is being used for fraudulent purposes?
I can't understand how RY is able to keep up his public appearances without any damage done to his brand. Look what happened to Rossi here in the U.S. (not that Rossi was trying to promote his brand). I'd argue what RY has done is far worse, because he's hurting real charities with his deception. He's a liar, a cheat, and a scammer. Shouldn't he be held accountable?
Of course he should be held accountable and hopefully he will be, as long as this investigation instigated by Skins comes to the same conclusions as the rest of us have.
I don't know about the photo with Mo. I have no idea when it was taken. Perhaps it was prior to the truth coming out. I don't know what Mo's people know and don't know. Perhaps it might be worth trying to contact them.
As for him keeping up his public appearances, I don't actually know that he is. If you look at his Facebook page, his last update was one month ago today. Who knows what he has been doing since then. There is no mention of his upcoming appearances for run4peace and this Epic thing in Guernsey. You would expect he would be promoting these appearances, or is he worried people will turn up to the event specifically to give him abuse?
The most recent posts on his FB page are by myself and another RY detractor on 2nd August. None of his ardent supporters jumped in to call us 'haters', as I expected. It's all gone very quiet.
I emailed the Epic Challenges people after they blocked me - unsurprisingly no response. I might do the same for run4peace. Perhaps if these organisations get enough people telling them they are harming their reputations by associating with Rob Young they may get the message and drop him, then he might disappear back under the rock from whence he came.
We're the drawings he stuck on the back of the RV all from real children, or were some direct from RY's sketchbook?
Also, have we any clarification on who is organising run4peace? In other words, is anyone but Robert young and that Adam dude involved? Are we sure this charity aegis are aware that they are using its name? It isn't easy to find on the Facebook page or the website.
Sorry, I don't know about the drawings on the back of the RV. It's the first I've heard of them.The run4peace thing seems to be legit. The Aegis Trust have been around since 2000, which is before Rob Young started his long con.It's not all that obvious on Aegis' website but if you look in the 'News' section, you will find reference to the run4peace event and Rob Young on April 26th, which is where the photo with Wilson Kipsang first appears. If you go back a bit further you can see that Rob Young apparently took part in a previous event of theirs last September. I think they have just been suckered in by the legendary RY charm but I like this comment on their FB page which says it well:
So because this isn't an official race, you're okay associating with someone who:
1. Lied about being a pro cyclist (He was never a pro cyclist for Milram)
2. Listed his 10k PR on his website, when the time was actually from a 7k event
3. Recorded a 1:12 half marathon split, followed by a 1:15 half marathon after a short rest, at altitude, with the first 6 miles uphill on his record attempt that you won't touch on.
4. Claims he was an Elite Triathlete. Old results were pulled showing him coming in dead last in a regular AG event.
This makes your charity look like a joke.

I doubt the run4peace thing will go ahead - they have 79 likes and they are trying to get 1000 runners to take part.
Regarding the Epic thing in Guernsey - this also seems to be organised by a legit charity. They are a registered charity in Guernsey but information about them is limited. Like Aegis, they seem to think Rob Young will bring people to their event and they are unconcerned with the ethics around being linked to a fraud.
One thing that doesn't seem to have been addressed by Rob's haterz is his London Marathon splits from 2015:
5k in 17:31, 10k in 36:31. Admittedly these times are not lightening, but they're pretty good especially considering he then goes on to complete another 32k. You'd presume he could go a lot faster in a dedicated 5k or 10k event. McMillan predicts something around a 2hr50 marathon for a 17:31 5k.
Looks like he breaks in 2015*, but with better pacing and a bit less timber he could presumably be running well into the 2:40's, even 2:30's.
*think I remember reading he actually stopped to do an interview with Lucozade. That or he broke at a hydration station and chatted with one of the volunteers.
