Robert Young fakes run across America

Robert is a great guy and you should really stop this and just give the guy some support. He is doing this for the children, not for records or money or fame or anything else. You guys are just jealous. Even if he did have a little nap in the van while it was driving, that's not against the rules is it? He went from doing ZERO running to THREE marathons in two days. Robert is a GOD.

The first time I saw that (dozens of pages ago) I had the same reaction but nobody really followed up on it. RED FLAG FOR ME.

It's like the director was saying HEY between the lines but didn't want to actually make an accusation.

Made for TV movie on whatever ABC Family changed its name to. Just need a babysitter to be involved.

When we reached Young on the phone from Missouri, he doubted the conclusiveness of Delmott’s video, and said he wished Delmott would have made himself more visible—Young would have happily run with him.

But in the video they say that the light was right by their door and so they decided to drive away because they were scared. What a crock.

Who expects someone to come running with them at 2am in the morning? I'd driven away too.

Why is this guy putting himself out there and lying to everyone when it's as clear as day that the whole reality of this attempt is crumbling around them.

Who are these guys that are giving up all this time and effort to fake a crossing. I just don't get it.

They didn't seem to mind when some weirdo in a bunny suit tracked them down in the dark just a few days prior:

And yet two days later they see a light and assume it's someone coming to murder them.

The youtube was likely taken down from fans reporting it, as someone reported was happening. The OP's original video is still up under his own name:

Fair enough. But what type of loon would pick 2am to run up behind someone in the dark?

Wouldn't most people just park ahead and wait for them. Signal as they approached or passed by?

Am I a bad person if I read that someone is running across a country or doing a pile of marathons or what have you, and then immediately come here to see if it's already been debunked?

Oh. And don't reply to this. I'm taking the next week to run across Canada. Don't look for me, though. I'll just tell you when it's done and I'm back in Toronto.
