You have a big issue with admitting you were wrong. You said that NO Evangelical churches have a hierarchy and that they were all independent. That is NOT true. I gave just ONE example, and that's enough to win this argument, but there are TONS of them in the US that have a structure, Bishops, annual conferences just for their members, etc. You actually did NOT admit your error immediately. You said something like "perhaps I should have said...", but then later you reneged on that. It does not matter how long you have been teaching, if you are a Deacon, etc. That experience apparently didn't teach you that there are TONS of Evangelical churches out there that are not just independent individual churches. Your statement about that was wrong. I have proven so. You show a big personality flaw by not being able to admit you didn't know that. Consider this something you have learned. If you have any future questions about Christianity or Evangelicals, be sure to ask. If you can't bring yourself to do that, I highly suggest that you research something specific if you wish to disagree with me on facts in the future. You can have a different opinion, but you can not have different facts.
Go look. I admitted my error in the very next post.
You have said many things, and I don't plan to go back. If you want to make a point, paste here where you said you were wrong about anything. I am referring to your comment that was something along the lines of "I should have said 'typically'..." well, you didn't say that. And then later, you reverted back to saying what you originally said which was that all evangelical churches are independent. Best really if you just move on to another subject. You never know, you might actually win an argument with me some day. This isn't that day.
