Please read the name of this thread. Why do conservatives keep bringing up the trials and tribulations of private citizens? They aren't relevant. Could it be that conservatives can not defend the actions of the POTUS they elected?

The only thing that gives me solace in these god-awful days of the Orange Buffoon is that he is so completely and totally inept at his job that he can't even handle the basic functions of day to day life in the white house. Can you name me another president in the 20th or 21st centuries who accomplished so little, lied/fabricated, and had this much upper-level staff turnover in the first 7 months of their presidency???? He even lies about dumb ass trivial things like the size of his inauguration crowd, or YESTERDAY when he made up the phone calls he claims he received from the Boy Scouts/President of Mexico and even his own white house confirmed he was not telling the truth.

Like dude, I wasn't a huge Hilary fan, but man, learn some basic of comprehension skills. I genuinely pity people like you who are either unwilling or unable to look past their own bias toward facts. I understand appealing to actual authorities (NO PEOPLE LIKE ALEX JONES/RUSH LIMBAUGH/BILL O'REILLY/STEVE BANNON don't count) doesn't mean anything to you, but I would strongly recommend you deepen your level of discourse and understanding about the issues at play in our country.

The only solace I have in this terrible dark time (and I say this as a relatively affluent, white-male who doesn't undergo any of the racism/sexism/bigotry etc etc that is being thrown around by wiiiiiiiiiide swaths of America) is that Trump and his team are so goddamn incompetent that either he will be impeached (fairly likely) or resign, also possible, or just end up bungling around for another 3+ years making people angry, accomplishing very little, and talking a huge meaningless "game".

yes BUT he does have the power and ineptitude to start some truly unnecessary military conflict, which his smart boy Kelly might like as a strategy to distract the public when the GOP starts to really turn on him. You are sadly right. My hope is that Congress/Senate will neuter his ability to actually declare said war. Especially congress since techinically "War" is up to them. That being said this hope may be naive and/or misguided since Congress is seemingly overwhelmingly populated by a bunch of white, male, sexist/bigots/ideologues?!!! War is my biggest fear, but I guess I just try and have faith that Trumps overwhelming incompetance/unpopularity will neuter this instinct. That being said Bush did make it look all too easy. So its not like we as a nation are ever really safe.

REAL patriots stay vigilant toward injustice wherever and whenever it may be committed.

We as the American people need to demand ACCOUNTABILITY and not let said war (or even the thought of it) ever ever ever get off the ground.
