Believe in the Run embarrassing themselves by endlessly defending Truett Hanes and doping. They still claim that they think he isn't doping but are mad at anyone who commented about how they don't like doping amongst influencers because they claim that people shouldn't care about doping because it doesn't impact and the only reason people are upset about doping is that they're jealous because doping doesn't impact other people. Then Thomas talked about Mekenna Myler's speedsuit for a while. Then they go back to doping and decide that they'll prove Truett is clean by inviting him on the show to be tested (lol, that really proves you're clean, of course these are the same people that say that he isn't doping because he suddenly lost weight. They clearly don't know about DHEA, a banned performance enhancing drug). Congratulations to the Asics marketing department on sponsoring this drivel! Engagement farming at its lamest.
They are tanking fast. Robbe and Karl basically don’t run anymore. Thomas is too old and slow now to accurately review shoes. Meg has a few years left but will continue to be dragged down by the other three. The “dirt division” is unlistenable with their product obsession and narcissistic emotional circle jerking. They might still survive for awhile though because they have good connections and are good at scamming people out of money for themselves and brands.
I'm just a dumb idiot runner and I know that, but what does Meghan see in him? And same with the other Meghan. I'm "stunned" that that Meghan, who is a good RD with diet tips, still is affiliated with them.
Those two ladies would run circles around him. I know time-shaming isn't good but Thomas is the old runner that CAN'T produce content well and talks down to people! CHOO CHOO ;)
1) Tim/MARM > I love the guy but he barely runs other than a weekend Parkrun and/or a Half Marathon. 2) Jake/RantoJapan 3) Alex Yee 4) Andy from the Running Channel. Really impressive results for someone who's really not running a lot of mileage - his experience will help him there.
Are Andy's results really that impressive? Sure he's in the masters category now and doesn't run that much mileage but I wouldn't call a 2:50 marathon "impressive" from a former 3:49/13:20 man when people like sirpoc exist in the same age category and ran 2:24 off of way less talent.
Fair enough maybe not. I was basing it more off the fact that he runs less than 1,000 miles a year.
So BITR are doping apologist. The only runner with respectable times there is Meg. Does this mean that she was ready to dope to get her results? For the other guys their results are poor anyway, so if they would dope to get them it would be just very sad for them.
I'm kinda wondering if he's using YT as a way to get out of teaching. Shame. He must ge a phenomenal teacher. Given his personality. Weird that UK government does its best to make teaching not a sustainable career for many.
I'm a teacher. I walk in at 8 and leave at 4. No work at home. No looking at email. I'm an excellent and charismatic teacher. But that's all I'm giving you.

I mean Robbe's 3:25 off of 30 miles a week and a life of smoking when he was in a traveling band is actually kind of impressive.

She's no better than the other two at this point. Shilling runway, skratch, lmnt, whoever pays the most that week - how can you take anything she says seriously?
Oh wow, Fenton went on a quest for Sub 30 today (his main YouTube rivals of similar age - RtJ, Cole, Ryan T have all gone comfortably under 30 and are closer to 29 so the pressure was on)
He had 18 seconds in the bank at the 6k mark and ended up 6 seconds over. That must be frustrating.

Damn, if he was 18 seconds ahead at 6k that means he ran the first 6k at 2:57/km pace.
And if he lost 26 seconds on the final 4k that means he ran the final 4k at 3:06/km pace.
There are plenty more races he can do—there’s no need to be this harsh or call him dumb. Sure, it wasn’t the best tactic if he was solely going for sub-30, but if he had a great day out there, he could’ve taken a big chunk off that 30.
