Also, the whole cognitive decline thing for both Trump and Biden is BS. Trump actually has more signs of that than Biden does, but they are both 74+ years old. Senior moments. No one is saying Biden was ever sharp as a tack. He has always been second fiddle because he's not really the top tier guy, and the only reason he will end up being President is because the opponent is the worst President in our country's history.
Biden wins, and easily, if he is breathing.
Dementia Joe during has confused his sister for his wife, has said he's running for Senate, has said 'I'm going to beat Joe Biden", doesn't know what city or state he's in.
Elder abuse.
Dementia Joe loses, easily.

GA in particular seems to have a falling daily death count.
I'm delighted to hear it. Thank goodness people who were in the areas that were hit hard early mostly avoided travel . . . the time gap was a chance for med folks to learn more about how to treat the disease effectively.
So, indeed: Good work, Americans!

The Republican Party openly deny democratic rights to many American citizens.

I wonder if Tiny is rethinking his plans to go ahead with a "normal" Republican convention. I bet most delegates will refuse to enter a crowded hall. Imagine what it will be like if Tiny has to give his acceptance speech to a devoted crowd of empty chairs.
That is part of it yes, but his poll numbers are getting worse. Mattis has said very bad things about him. Kelly has said very bad things about him. Colin Powell has said very bad things about him. Bolton has said very bad things about him, and we will hear more tonight in his interview.
It's just possible that also people are getting tired of his shtick. Trump is a loser, and eventually most people come around and recognize a loser.

You are an idiot, Biff. And Trump thought he visited "Pleasure" and mentioned the famous "Tallahassee Trail". I could counter your stupid comments all day long with moronic things Trump has done and said.
Nothing beats Trump suggesting we inject disinfectants to fight COVID-19.
Biden wins easily if he is breathing.
You remain easily the dumbest person I have ever encountered.
Enjoy your loss.

Interesting today in visiting with my MIL and FIL for the first time since the virus hit. They have been Trumpers going back to his days as more of a hotel owner than a politician and through the Apprentice. Basically just fans of him more of as groupies than anything else. They also watch FoxNews constantly. They seemed very put off by him today. That doesn't mean they won't vote for him but they were definitely tiring of his act.
The interesting thing about this period will be how Drumpf supporters, and all right wingers generally, live down their idiocy and avoid the constant mocking and embarrassment they are due after supporting the most vile and worthless president in the history of this country.
It's going to feel pretty lousy to be 75 years old and have your kids and grandchildren mock you as a former MAGAt. How many of those red hats will go into hiding soon?

that's the question, isn't it...millions of Rs and indies are sick of Trump but will that get them to stay home or vote for Joe.

americans don't care much about history...one of the things that lets us do great things (and make huge mistakes like Iraq) is that we don't care about history.
The exception might be if the Ds go after trump legally next year. That would perpetuate the divide.
lead story on foxnews.com is the poor attendance at the rally.
Same at drudge.
that's got to hurt in magaland.

Very few, I expect. The True Believers™ will wear them proudly, and the bumper stickers will stay on their vehicles, as well.

I doubt it.
Trump, going out as a loser, will become irrelevant to the psyche of his former fans. He will become a tragic figure (not that he is not one already), largely forgotten by the Trumpettes, though real Americans will remember and revile him forever.

In the year 2022 you will not be able to find anyone who voted for Trump in 2016 or 2020.
Was the same with Nixon - by 1975 you could not find anyone who had voted for Tricky Dick in 1972.

So?
There is one and only one thread for all things Trump here on LRC. I don't see that as a problem.
