Yes he is obviously butt hurt about the assault on the confederate relics and probably feels some connection to them. Of course, I knew Rigged was being disingenuous as always. But the statue interested me so I read its wiki page.
It sits on private property and is not intended to honor socialism. So it's not at all comparable to confederate monuments that sit on public land and were erected to celebrate white supremacy.
The Lenin statue was taken from a scrap yard in the Czech Republic. The owner wanted to preserve its history as a Soviet relic and intended to install it in front of a Slovak restaurant. But the owner died before that could happen. The statue is now held in trust on private property and the trust is looking for a buyer.
But Rigged, I'd still like a direct answer to my question.
