I have noticed gaffney has biked the majority of the trip standing (not sitting on the bike seat).

You have this the wrong way round. When you make huge claims like "I am running across the whole of America and am one of only a handful of people over 50 that have done this", then the onus is on YOU to prove you are, and you have shown no evidence of any kind.
The tracker isn't proof. It is only a guide to location, not showing a person actually did this.
All the tracker is doing is proving he IS cheating, and for ages there was NO tracker.
ALL LEGIT runners who do this trip log it in detail from a running watch, like a Garmin or TomTom and upload to Strava, like this guy who did this trip PROPERLY.

Next time you're in a town with a bicycle shop go buy an odometer. Install it on your bicycle. Maybe get one for your pal Kyle, too. Post some pictures of it mounted on your bicycle along with the initial "0000.00" reading. Then post pictures of the mileage at the end of the day. The mileage should be reasonably close to the mileage recorded with your GPS device.
