On the topic of private school all star teams, I believe several states have separate divisions for private schools and public schools at the cross country state meet. It might be more "fair" for the public school contenders, but it might also be a disservice for the students - particularly if the private school division is significantly more competitive - sort of gives the private school kids more opportunity to race top talent than the public school kids, whose division might feel like minor leagues. As a public high school alumnus myself, I was proud to compete on a strong public school team, compete directly against the private schools and destroy most of them, even if it meant sometimes falling short to an private "all star team" once in a while. I'd rather the chance to beat them than not have the chance and just mop up in a lesser division.

Potentially, there are about 4 other guys in his division who have a similar speed rating (186), and Antonio was almost beat 3/4 of those dudes. DII really could be anyone’s race.

Not even Milesplit or Flotrack? Pathetic. Get PoMan on the job.
PoMan is too poor to livestream. He's setting up six cameras to capture the State Championship on Saturday. No bikecam though as PoMan is not "media"; just a poor parent filming for his school district.
Opinion: Woodward Park is the worst possible location for the CA state meet. While I agree that it should be located in Fresno due to its proximity to most of the best schools in the state, as well as its fame and reputation for being the best city on the West Coast, Woodward Park is just not the right choice. This is due to many factors, notably the size of the park. It's really big and easy to get lost in. Also, it has too many trees and lakes and beautiful landscaping that steals attention from the races. I found a better park that the CIF officials should take into consideration, as it is much smaller and more fit for a cross country race. It's called "Flood Control Basin Park," and another bonus is that it's located closer to the center of the city, allowing for athletes to hit downtown Fresno after their race. If CIF could make the switch soon enough for the upcoming November 30th State meet to take place there, I think it would greatly benefit California XC and could lead to the state receiving an At-large bid to NXN.
Boys state meet merge predictions 1. Jesuit 2. Campolindo 3. San Clemente 4. Beckman 5. Woodbridge
I have the same top 4, but I saw a report that Woodbridge's #3 is going to be out, so I would predict both Mira Costa and Dos Pueblos to beat them, and possibly a few others. Vacaville is a real wild card because they haven't competed much in the big meets, and they haven't had a real great team outing. That lack of clarity would put them behind the next group of Redondo, Crescenta Valley and Hart.
