Do you have indications this girl was "malnourished" and/or "not fully immunocompetent" from a credible source?
I’m not sure what constitutes a credible source anymore… CBS 60 minutes? The CDC, whose former director during Covid reinforced why the credibility of the three letter agencies was in question and how it was ok to say you didn’t know all the answers rather than make up the answers? Drudge Report?
It was suggested as a possibility here according to another source:
It doesn’t take an infectious disease specialist to know that mycoplasma pneumoniae (walking pneumonia) doesn’t typically kill a host who isn’t already severely immunocompromised. This is an anomaly. There isn’t absolute proof that malnourishment contributed to it but it’s a reasonable guess (but not proof). I am taking the liberty of extrapolating this, I will readily admit.
Again, this is exactly the type of child who should be vaccinated against measles if we’re going to demand anyone be vaccinated against measles, but this is the Mennonite community so I don’t know how you achieve that. But, again, is any of this even a story if the hospital treats the mycoplasma correctly to begin with? Probably not. Maybe, but probably not.
Again, get your measles vaccine and tell the entire story.
From your first link (The Atlantic):
Local health officials told The New York Times that the child who died had “no known underlying conditions.”
So you've provided a source that explicitly contradicts what you claimed and then bitched about others not "telling the whole story".
Btw, do you have proof that she wasn’t malnourished or immunocompromised or didn’t actually die of a mycoplasma owing to hospital negligence? I get that you don’t like Kory and think he’s a quack, but do you have proof that he’s lying and merely promoting a self serving agenda as you guys have repeatedly said? Cite sources please.
The CHD site has an article quoting Dr Kory that says the hospital put the girl on two antibiotics: ceftriaxone and vancomycin. He makes the argument that the normal protocol is ceftriaxone and azithromycin. Vancomycin and azithromycin, to my understanding, both treat a similar range of bacterial infections, but vancomycin is typically reserved for use against more antibiotic-resistant infections.
My interpretation is that Dr Kory is taking a not terribly unusual deviation from the most usual pneumonia protocol and unreasonably portraying it as "medical malpractice".

I said it was suggested by another source. It appears that RFK Jr himself was a source suggesting the malnourishment in a Fox Nation interview, and perhaps picked up by CHD (I haven’t read it but just references to it), then reiterated in an interview with Hannity in general terms. The dad of the girl seems to be the one suggesting the death was caused by pneumonia, but, perhaps Kory picked up on that or vice versa.
Whatever the case, mycoplasma-caused pneumonia is usually the domain of the immunocompromised. If it were just measles causing the immune suppression, then we’d see a lot more of it. I told you I took some liberty in extrapolating one to the other as we do not have proof. But I do not personally see the huge logical leap here.
I agree this is a very sad case who is collateral damage and who lost the small chance percentages game. However, her parents have since conducted multiple interviews saying they still wouldn’t get their kids vaccinated, so, again, good luck with that in a Mennonite community.

I think you have this wrong. Azithromycin is a macrolide, and that is the point Kory made in the video that you all either didn’t watch or disparaged. That is what this girl needed.
I wouldn’t trust anything he says now. Truthfulness is the cornerstone of any meaningful argument. Without it, the very foundation of discourse crumbles into manipulation and deceit. To argue without truth is to wield words as weapons, not tools, and to prioritize winning over understanding - something Harambe has repeated is his goal several times on this thread.
When truth is absent, arguments become hollow shells, devoid of substance. They may dazzle with rhetoric or charm with charisma, but they fail to stand up to scrutiny. Worse, they erode trust. A single falsehood can taint an entire argument, casting doubt on even the most valid points. And once trust is lost, it is nearly impossible to regain.
The consequences of untruthful arguments extend beyond the immediate conversation. They poison the well of public discourse, fostering cynicism and division. They embolden others to abandon truth in favor of expedience, creating a vicious cycle of dishonesty. In the long run, this undermines the very fabric of a community like LRC, as shared truths are replaced by competing falsehoods.
I’m sure Harambe will continue to spew lies in order to find support for his arguments. It’s a shame that in doing so he’s actually weakening the argument he’s trying to make.
I’ve lied about nothing. Inconvenient truths for the antivaxxer dogma, sure. But I’m not here to protect your harmful worldview. Not a safe space!
You can’t even not lie about lying. It’s hilariously pathetic. You’ve done nothing but warp people’s viewpoints and create non-existent narratives in attempts to support your arguments because they can’t stand on their own.
You also take the fabricating of scenarios and lying remarks quite personally which suggests you don’t want to be seen as disingenuous. But you are. Oh well!

Still waiting. A simple yes or no to both will do:
Do you believe the COVID vaccines are beneficial for all cohorts?

I bet a manslaughter (ideally murder) charge would change some minds in that community.
I had mycoplasma-penumonia in high school and definitely was not immunocompromised. People just get unlucky. That’s why you vaccinate. Don’t leave it up to luck.
Again you don’t seem to have a clear reason why you’re intensely arguing this cause of death. You agree everyone should get the MMR vax.
There’s no evidence besides an antivaxx blogger and RFK - both with a HUGE COIs and no first hand knowledge - that anything you’re saying is true.
Even if we accept this non-issue as an issue, why do we think a guy who recommends ivermectin for everything is a reliable source for macrolide vs glycopeptide antibiotics in infectious disease.

Kinda making my point for me that most people who have mycoplasma pneumoniae don’t die unless not fully immunocompetent to begin with, precisely the person you want to vax.
Look, you think Kory is a kook for promoting IVM (I disagree, Fareed, Urso, my own physician, lots of out of the box MDs liked it if given early enough and for long enough contrary to what 95% of the studies actually did; heck, my own MD put it in writing to his patients, but he also was a concierge guy who didn’t need to rely on the system to get paid, but whatevs). But what if he’s not wrong here? Is it possible Kory could be right, no matter what you think his ulterior motives are?

Missing: evidence of lies
present: seething at getting owned by Harambe
Let’s see. You lied about me being an antivaxxer. You lied about sub 9 guy being an antivaxxer. You lied about scolding your wife about 911 (or lied about not doing it, take your pick). You lied about me being in any way responsible for killing 400k Americans. You lied about me spreading misinformation. You lied about Novak Djokovic having long covid. You lied about Tiger Woods having long covid. You lied about not being the poster 2600bro. And you lied about not lying. LOL Shall I go on?

He lied about not stealing and registering handles either. And he never fessed up to the fact that I outplayed him and stole his registered handle for a day after his dumb little game of stealing unregistered handles. Oh, and he did not get the last word on the Official Covid Vaccine thread, despite swearing up and down that he would.

The abyss is all consuming.
Just watched Novak dust Musetti 2 and 2. Shame though, seeing the massive drop off of in play by Alcaraz in the last ten months. Making only one semifinal in an ATP1000 tournament in that time and losing his first match in Miami in embarrassing fashion. I hope what ails him is soon cured. Hate seeing that with such a young talent, only 21. Let’s hope he gets his health in order.

You’re telling me an almost 38-year old Djokovic just completed blasted a 23-year old, world ranked #16 player? Man, he must be back on Pierre Kory’s nattokinase long Covid protocol again to be able to pull that off😂

IVM failed every trial it was run in. If you still think it works for COVID you believe in fairy tales.
It’s possible he’s right but he’s a proven fraud who has been very, very wrong before. We should not give his opinion much weight at all. In fact, less weight than the doc that cared for the girl because I postulate most doctors are not as fraudulent and grifting as Kory.

You’re absolutely an antivaxxer. You’ve repeatedly amplified antivaxx propaganda on this board. Sub9 is like the archetypical antivaxxer lol.
Both you guys have the thinnest skin and can’t accept there are consequences for having dumb opinion.
And yes you’re both responsible parties for the 400k unvaxxed covid deaths that could have been prevented. Every bit of propaganda you spread contributed to those dead Americans. Nice work

I haven’t stolen a handle in years. I did it back in middle school. I guess you’re still stuck there.

Thin skin? Who went whining to the mods when I reposted when sub 9 took your manhood.
