Even without Clark, ESPN recorded 90% increase for the 3 pt contest / skills challenge.
What's more amazing is this was the top rated program of the evening among F 18-34 viewers. Not top rated sports program or top rated cable program. The top rated program, period.
For some reason, women's sports cause a lot of men to lose their minds.
In England, our women's football (soccer) team has won back-to-back European championships and set an incredible example.
However, there are more than a few men who believe that the attention given is excessive and undeserved. There's a former men's player on X who frequently expresses his disdain for female players and seems to take it personally when the women request even a fraction of the vast wealth that the sport possesses, as if they are asking for money directly from his wallet.
I find this psychology fascinating. Why are some men like this? Why do they act this way with women's team sports? Do they feel imasculated cheering for a group of women?
YEEES!!! Go Heels!

My guess is no! The stands are all empty. It’s comical. Yet espn wants to promote womens basketball to no end. Kinda sad. Women play inferior basketball to men and the games are boring
booooo
Women are far more attractive, their games are easier to follow and understand for most people, even the peons on LRC that play YMCA games and get into fights every Friday night! You are not capable of playing in the NBA or even college men's basketball. You should spend all your time watching women's sports.
It is growing, yes. But, the WNBA lost money every year. Including the first year of CC. When do they pay the NBA back?
