Joe don’t care. They can’t vote dem. 👎👎👎👎
“A former translator for a high-ranking U.S. Army Ranger in Afghanistan told Fox News Wednesday the Taliban have begun publicly executing allies of the U.S. in provinces away from the media attention of Kabul.”
Explosion, tear gas. Not good. 👎👎👎👎👎
Biden now has blood on his hands. What a disaster.
Now there's a second explosion in Kabul. Great job Joe!

hope we can get the remaining few Americans out soon and that the total of American deaths in Afghanistan remains lower than those killed by right wing terrorists in America.

Yep, all the more reason for Joe to stick with the 31st deadline. We and other countries have issued warnings about imminent attacks outside the airport, so no surprise here. We warned Americans not to hang out outside the airport unless provided specific instructions by government officials to come to the airport. It's the Taliban's country, not ours. ISIS and AQ are their problem now. Most of the hundreds trying to get in the airport are Afghani citizens with no chance to leave. We have secured the airport, but we can't control the outside part of it.

A couple of the 5000 Taliban prisoners Trump released have committed suicide bombings. So much for Trump epic "peace" deal with the Taliban. Just like Trump, there are men of their "words."

So, how is the typical US citizen supposed to feel about this? The idea that we have left so many Americans behind bothers me a lot. Pulling troops out was the right move. The way it was done, and the fallout since had bad optics but many on here were willing to shrug their shoulders at it because it was non-Americans dealing with their own stuff. But now, this blast at the airport has reportedly killed dozens of Americans and it looks increasingly likely that the US may be forced to totally abandon 1000 citizens and tens of thousands of others who helped us. How is this anything other than unacceptable?
I'm a left leaning moderate and I understand the difficult nature of the task that the previous administration actually got started. But Biden mucked this up and he is responsible for a large piece of this continued disaster.

It's easy to pass the buck and leave a ticking time bomb for the next guy. Ending a war is messy and politically risky, but Joe has been resilient in doing the right thing here. When fat boy abandoned thousands of long-time allied Kurds and left them to be slaughtered nobody on the right cried foul. Now instead of supporting the president in pulling out of that mess, the right is rooting for it all to go south so he looks bad. Trumpettes really are not americans
If President Pudding resigns, VP Cackles-Under-Any-Kind-Of-Pressure takes over...
This is tragic. 👎👎👎
We were all hoping this would not happen, but we knew it would. This was totally unavoidable.
Not a good day for America.

1. No, you are not a left leaning moderate.. that is quite clear from your posting history. You are a troll.
2. The typical non-US citizen, assuming it's a reasonable person taking context and history into consideration, should feel saddened by this but see it as a part of the price of the overall war. Ending a war is messy. Point one out to us that wasn't - maybe just Bush 1 but there is no possible comparison. No amount of preparation, intel or coordination was going to prevent some chaos with the Taliban in charge, in particular with security of their civilians. No matter how rough the end of this ride is, America does not have any appetite for losing many more years, funds and american lives in a pointless war. I don't think we really had a choice here. Trump agreed with the Taliban to hand the country over by May 2021. We extended that deadline already and they have been rather patient. People seem to be forgetting we lost the war here and there are obvious consequences for that.
Now to Biden. His fk up was in jumping the gun and saying this would be a cleaner exit. He needs to take a political hit for that. But I really doubt he could have done much more on the ground that would make a material difference. If we added troops to push back on the Taliban we'd risk extending the war and putting many more lives at risk. There would be no point to doing that given it's their country now. This evacuation has been a herculean effort. Biden had a son who served, he was against troop expansion as VP and obviously cares deeply about resolving this. it would be insane to think he's not trying his best and that everyone was focused on it. We clearly are doing the best we can.
In the long run think most americans will view this exit as part of the broader failure we as a country have had with this war. It's Bush's war, Obama continued it, Trump signed a deal with the Taliban, and Biden got us out. American lives were unnecessarily lost under all these presidents. That's what will be in the history books.
