How do you guys feel about these Twitter fact checks? Part of me is glad they’ve put a couple up but I’m also afraid people who want to believe Trump’s wild conspiracies will use the lack of a fact check tag on other tweets as “proof” they are true.

Regarding Rogan, what is important is the quality and significance of those he interviews, and what they say and think—not what Rogan says and thinks. He works to frame and shape his interviews just like anyone else, but he is both seemingly flexible and good-natured about where the interviewee wishes to go. This quality results in interviews superior to what appears on MSM. I did not say he was great, I said that he and his ilk represent a glimmer of hope.

Yes, this is the problem you get when your citizenry is too stupid to understand through rational inquiry what is worth believing, and what is not. D’s make people stupid via control of public education, and now Trump rightly uses that as a justification for censorship.

Unfortunately the electorate isn’t getting any smarter any time soon, so this cycle will perpetuate, and worsen. Neither half of the Uniparty can stand it when the shoe is on the other foot, which happens cyclically. Memories are bitter, and retribution becomes legitimated.
If one is in the US and does not subscribe to either half of the Uniparty or condone Uniparty conduct, one has no place in the society—or a marginal place, at best. Such a stultifying dead end. Trump has actually been an interesting exercise, because he’s no classic R at all—he really does think independently of the Uniparty. Unfortunately he is at times hugely hypocritical, and does nothing more than pilot the Uniparty on its direct course for the cliff, while pressing down hard on the accelerator.
This reveals him to be a mere politician and not a statesman. Of course the aim is now to win the political election, but he has always been electioneering. If he wins, we will see if he goes off the rails in his second term, like his predecessor did. My prediction is that of course he will, because it would be what the stupid electorate wants, and fully expects.
A minor ray of hope for America rests in the demise of the trash MSM and the rise of shows like Joe Rogan—although he has now been bought, so we’ll see what happens there. There are others with less fancy guest lists, but they are slowly growing, giving at least some hope.
Note that he advocates for neither the obstreperous Trump nor the senile Biden.

Joe Rogan is a meathead. He's not funny. He's a bad actor. He's halfway decent at MMA announcing and should stick to that.

1) No evidence Rogan is costing Biden any votes.

2) Limbaugh IS a POS. Franken was right about that. Limbaugh is a hypocrite drug abuser who damaged his hearing to the point he needed a cochlear implant. He should have gone to prison. He also said the coronavirus was the common cold among a ton of other incorrect, homophobic, and racist things. I was immediate in saying Franken should resign, so you have nothing there.

3) Rogan is an idiot based on the things he says. He's a conspiracy theorist for one, and he understands very little about anything other than MMA for two. You are a simpleton for being enamored with him.

Are we surprised he brings up Hitler?

Your central thesis is this idea of Uniparty. A couple of decades ago, there might have been some merit to that idea, especially on foreign policy where both parties largely agreed.

But now the two parties could not be more different. The way they govern could not be more different.

You say that Trump is neither Democrat nor Republican. This is where you are fundamentally wrong. Trump is the Republican party. Full stop.

There is Trump-Republican Party and there is the Democratic Party. And they are very, very different indeed.
