Can someone keep an eye on this guy (run across America)

Yeah, Darren is on the move again. Battery is on a low 0% but it's still recording a speed of 18 mph.

Kavinoky has done a 13 mile stretch outside of Little Rock going 16-21 mph with most of the speeds at around 17-18 mph. There are variable cross winds coming from the south today so it is not favorable for high sustained speeds. It is also flat ground. And right now they are going at 18.6 mph.

Might wanna slow there fellas, don't wanna over do the cheating by riding in the RV.

I missed today's start, but have logged a few of his mile splits.

He ended the other day with a total duration of 31:18:37 and a distance of 325.78 miles. When I first saw the tracking today it was 21:51:50 and 332.52 miles. 6.74 miles in 33:13 = 12.17 mph.

The next reading was 3.00 miles later.

Duration 32:10:45, distance 335.52= 9.43 mph.

It was slower, however, when the distance was at 333.14 there was a long, long pause where nothing moved and the clock kept going. Maybe that is where they loaded up the bikes.

Here are the next mileage readings, duration, distance, mph .

32:15:02. 336.59 (1.07 mi.) 14.99 mph

32:18:32. 337.66 (1.07 mi) 18.34 mph

32:22:02. 338.68. (1.02) 17.49 mph

32:25:33. 339.73 (1.05) 17.91 mph

32:29:19. 340.84 (1.11) 17.68 mph

32:32.47. 341.88 (1.04) 18.00 mph

32:36:38. 342.92 (1.04) 16.21 mph

Very strange how the speed picked up after the long pause at 333.14 miles. Later there will be another long pause before they enter another town where they get back on the bikes, and we'll see a significant slow down as they triumphantly ride through town, sweat free of course. Gotta look good for the cameras.

I can't believe I'm wasting time tracking this guy, but I'm somewhat obsessed. No more splits for a while, I haven't run yet today and am going out to do that now.

Nope, not over. We got them to set up a tracker and Kavinoky said several weeks back that he was all healed and was running again but we haven't seen him doing any running at all, just biking and riding in the RV. He is still claiming it is all "self-propelled".

Kavinoky has stopped in Carlisle, Arkansas for the past 15 minutes.

I actually do not believe that they are capable of those speeds on mountain bikes.
