I was trying to get tickets for a weekend game recently (for either the Liberty, Lynx, or Dream) and was surprised that there were mostly only resale tickets left or nosebleeds. I’m not sure if it’s the Caitlin Clark effect but the game has definitely grown a lot in popularity.

I remember an article in the former ESPN magazine about a WNBA player who quit because she is not gay and got harassed alot by other players.

The Atlanta Dream stadium only holds 3,500.

If I was a straight WNBA player and all the women are frollicking in the showers after a game and ogling me, I would feel very uncomfortable.

As it is, the league (even with CC) loses money every year
