How about McKesson and Teva? Both of those have paid large settlements for their role.
I'm not saying every big pharma company had a role in the opioid epidemic, but the list of abuses throughout the industry is a mile long. It needs fundamental reform.

It would be good business, but probably not in that way. Whoever wins the vaccine race will face enormous worldwide pressure to give it away at cost. But the company will receive tremendous free press and goodwill, which is worth a lot.
Of course, it's just as likely that one or more effective vaccines come from government-funded or non-profit institutions like the promising vaccine from Oxford. If that happens, nobody makes a direct profit.
