IMO it won't be remembered enough to make a difference. And that doesn't even take into account the fact that most 50ish Trump voters don't have grandparents anymore.

Opinions pro- or anti-Trump are almost completely solidified. The figure I saw the other day was 95%. So the only *real* question is, which voters will go to the polls?

No disagreement with the entrenchment of most people however, in the state of Florida, the race could be so close that a few votes here or there could make a major difference in the outcome.

people are not motivated to vote for Biden, that's true.

But they are massively motivated to vote against Trump and Republicans.

That was days before West Virginia posted its very first COVID-19 death. Now West Virginia has seen 65 deaths. Mississippi, Iowa, New Hampshire, Alabama are all at or above 100 deaths/million which would place them in the top 25 worst among the nations of the Earth.

Lockdowns do work. But you have to follow through with testing and contact tracing.

Lockdowns are the one thing we know that does work. Nations that locked down and ramped up testing were able to beat the virus and get back to normal.

But Trump is a weak leader. He's too incompetent to unite the nation and defeat the virus.

We will soon have 100,000 Americans dead.

The virus can only survive if it can pass from one human to another. If every person who has it stays home alone then the virus will either kill that person or the person will kill the virus. Either way, the virus is dead.

If we stay away from one another as much as possible the virus will die. That's why lockdowns work.

Fact is, what happened in NYC never happened in place like WV like you thought.

If what happened in NY state (not even NYC) happened in WV, WV would have 2500+ deaths. They have 67. Hell, they only have had 1500 CASES.

The lockdown was a mistake, the government should have focused on protecting the old and the vulnerable. As lockdowns cease, the virus had not spread - look at the numbers of new hospitalizations not "cases." We were told the lockdown was to keep hospitals from being overrun- they have not and we have flattened the curve. Time to reopen America.

Lockdowns work if you stay locked down long enough to get a handle on the virus. Other nations did it. We did not. Therefore, we have and will continue to die by the thousands for quite some time.

Texas is spiking now. Reopening has already been a disaster there.
