Agreed on all counts. The percentage of mature, level-headed Trump supporters in this discussion thread is much lower than the percentage of Trump critics.
To repeat what others have already said, this is the LetsRun message boards. I would never expect to see a troll-free environment, but this is some next-level stuff.
The vast majority of the Trump supporters post memes, don't do any research, and/or blatantly lie to emphasize their points. It's a shame because I truly believe that there is the potential for some fascinating conversations on this topic, but the MAGA zealots won't have it.
TL;DR ... after all of the horrendous things that Trump has said and done, anybody who still unconditionally supports him will simply ignore all of the logic and facts in the world. They are beyond redemption.

Regarding the bolded text above, this the shameful and still very hard to comprehend reality of America. We’re talking somewhere between 30 and 40% of America falling into that group. And probably a solid 40-45% who support most or all of the bad things that he says and does. The last 5% probably disagree with a lot, but STILL thought he should be president.
Literally incomprehensible.
Remember that 50% of citizens don’t bother voting. I mention this not to excuse them. But to help people appreciate that the percentage of the country that support Trump is way lower when those are included.
So, when you are out in a random crowd of people at an event the amount of Trump voters is likely around 25%. And true red cap cultist Trumpets is about 19%.
