Since US Forces are not permitted to rescue Americans in Afghanistan, that leaves three options: the French, the Brits and yes, the Taliban to bring them to the airport. The French and Brits are focused on their own citizens first and if they get get Americans, great. As for the Taliban, unless Biden is bribing them, I don't trust them at all to do the right thing and escort Americans to the airport safely. The Taliban also blockaded the perimeter of the airport, who knows how many people they turn away daily including Americans.

Plus there is no way all the stranded Americans will be out of Afghanistan by the 8/31 deadline. The situation is disaster and Biden is 100% at fault for this entire clusterfu*k.
