Of the worst 13 states in the nation, the top two are RED states, 11 of them are RED states, one is a BLUE state and one is a SWING state (though Arizona is on its way to becoming a BLUE state).
Also, no matter WHERE gun violence occurs, the gun laws in this country allow TOO MANY guns to be on the street and they are way TOO EASY to get, and the loopholes at gun shows is insane. Democrats have long tried to fight the NRA and enact some sane gun laws, but it and moron conservatives (even before the craziness that grips the GOP currently) have not allowed it.

I bet the majority of those red states which have the highest murder rates are occurring in their respective blue cities.
Outside of the blue cities in those red states, the gun violence per 100K rates will be among the lowest in the nation.

gary is at least admitting red states don't know how to govern cities in their states. Ok. It's a baby step. Somehow non-trumpy states know how to manage their cities. But not Republican states. I think that's a DQ.
But in reality he's full of it. Rural county mortality is off the charts high. Epsteiners are dying deaths of despair because of American 'conservatism.' They can't govern over anything. R areas are poorer and R areas die earlier, etc. Do not let them do to the USA what they are doing to themselves.
