It comes out now that Moscow Mitch has decided to stymie the bill. Mitch does not like that he was left out of the loop ... his choice because he presented an all-or-nothing version of the next bill which he developed and refused any input from any democrats.

This has been a growing issue. Mnuchin has been able to work with Dems unlike Mitch. Oddly, he's an outsider appointed by Trump and has been more effective at getting bipartisan results than Mitch who has been around and leading for ages. This is not all Mitch though, a lot of Rs have been growling about being left out and the pressure must have reached a critical point. I can only imagine this is about not enough people being able to dip their hands into the bailout cookie jar. Pure greed and dysfunction at work when unity, collaboration and empathy are required. Mitch has got nothing on trump though. He lost control of his party and was more than happy to see the country burn to the ground while he sold out. I hope not a single R is able to leave the sinking ship though.
