Could Paul Edwards, thrower banned for life, be telling the truth?

If they failed to do the analysis in the way the mass spec instruments are to be used and the hidden evidence showed this then that would be a very good keep this evidence hidden.

This then raises the question of how many false positives and false negatives were reported and punished or not punished.

So if the analysis was Incorrect and they analysed the wrong ion what case is there. In drink-driving the gun has to be calibrated if not end of case what’s the difference .

I have read that UK testers are going to use dogs to sniff out evidence.

I would if the dogs could have been used to find the evidence hidden by the authorities that would have cleared Edwards.

He is a shot putter and is bound to be guilty anyway even if the test were incompetent.

But then, would they have gone for the equally guilty sprinters of the time.

Should have played NFL where not one person gave a seconds worry about drugs.

Why was the IOC Medical Code breached in the Edwards case so blatantly and yet not one person has been held to account?

Why was there so consistent and persistent actions taken by all the authorities involved to hide the evidence of this?

Not only was the IOC Medical Code fundamentaly breached so was the EEC requirements for steroid analysis.

Yet all involved went on to substantial promotions and honours except one person and we do not know why that one person was removed as the reasons were......

The decision that the athletes banned from Sochi should be cleared can be seen in relation to the Edwards case.

In the Sochi case CAS were not bullied by the IOC and actually looked at the evidence and whether it stood up against normal rules of evidence.

In the Edwards case normal rules of evidence and science were ignored but 20 years ago such did not matter.

It is time for current CAS standards to be applied to overturn the Edwards injustice.

Rather like new DNA evidence clearing old convictions.

How long can they hide behind “ the case is closed?

Cases can’t be closed if new evidence appears after the hearing and that evidence is material.

So material that the Wada code would never allow a case to be presented in the Edwards case.
