So one of my main social outlets is music. The venues near me have resumed booking shows. I got announcements this week for three future shows. The first one of those is July 16th. I would like to go, and will go if that is an option, but I am holding off on buying tickets. The other two are in September and October. The September one is not one I would go to. The October one is a maybe, but again I am not buying tickets yet.
Wonder if other people are seeing these sorts of signs?
I'm on email lists for a few concert venues and ticket sellers, and I got an email this week promoting two shows in July (7/17 and 7/27). Seems very optimistic and I doubt those tickets are going to sell anytime soon. Looks like all shows into the beginning of June have been cancelled, but shows scheduled for mid-June or later are still on.
Hope that concert is not in California cuz it’s not going to happen.
Do you really think you will be able to sit in a restaurant or go to a mall in Ohio on May 1?
No chance that happens in Maryland where we also have a Republican Governor.
Even if rules lax, I doubt you’ll see a rush of people mingling.
I don’t know why there is any upward stock market movements, the unemployment situation is going compound problems.
Stimulus is falling short.
States are running out of money.
We started with a federal deficit over one trillion dollars while the economy was hot and now we’re exhausting resources.
Yes, he *did* tweet this. But let me guess: "That was different!"
Hold off on that. I posted the tweet based on only one verifying source. I usually look for at least two dissimilar sources to verify.
Apologies, if this turns out to be fake.

the stock market is saying that a year or two from now profits will be higher than they are today.
That's it. It's not saying next week or next month will be better.
After today, small businesses and employees aren’t going to get a paycheck to feed their families because of the Democrats. But here’s a video Botox Pelosi showcasing a (very expensive) freezer full of $13 per quart ice cream.

It's the potential new drug... mkt isn't appreciating just how awful the economic situation is. There is going to be a shock when earnings come out and economic data is out. The rate of jobless claims will decrease but it's not going to stop bleeding.

LOLz, this is what you have?

Investors can dream on. They want everything back to “normal” but the virus does not care.
It’s hilarious that left-wing media have epidemiologists for guests & Faux News has pundits with this “we’ve got the virus by the balls!” fantasy.

Dr Oz has been lurking in there offering all sorts of advice, using very transactional scenarios that appeal to the right. I'm thinking trump is itching to replace Fauci with him to get the WH's ratings up. Trump thinks this whole thing is one big tv show, and that if he draws the most attention he wins. After more than 3 years, he still has no clue what drives good results in the real world and what the POTUS is supposed to be doing and who they serve.

Yep...she should just donate her fridge and stop eating ice-cream, shame on her.
Whats going on, are the loonies getting so envious now? Not sure why. It is a poor quality overpriced US appliance.
As a coincidence, I just watched how the council pick up crushed my big Whirlpool fridge we put out for collection last night. Just awesome how it splintered into many pieces of mostly foam.
Poor quality overhyped.
You can buy much better asian stuff like Samsung/LG etc that last forever for a quarter of the price.
Never again.
Same with our company's (analytical instrument) equipment. The legacy stuff out of San Jose is pure rubbish, eventually everything will head to Germany (Germering/Bremen)where most is done now.
Anyway, I digress, but not really...you get my drift

Showing off because she has ice cream in her freezer? You have got to be kidding. Your boy has a golden toilet and talks about how rich he is. WTF is wrong with you? It is something on a deep deep level, and I mean besides being an idiot.

And don't forget that tRump was playing three days of golf every week of Jan through early Mar while the coronavirus spread rampant across the USA.
And, Trump's WH fridge is filled with ready to cook McDonalds, KFC, Diet Coke, and beautiful chocolate cake!

No, you simpleton. She was flaunting her two sub-zero fridges at about $10K each, plus the $13 per pint (not per quart) ice cream when she did nothing to help small business owners.
“While Nancy Pelosi sits in her ivory tower in San Francisco, eating $13 dollar a pint ice cream out of her $24,000 fridge, she is cheering on Democrats for blocking coronavirus relief aid that has so far been distributed to 1.3 million small businesses that is about to run out.”
